Manage the assemblies for your company. Only assemblies marked as active are considered valid and can be used in estimates. You have option to create new assemblies and build them here, but we highly recommend creating assemblies from existing estimates.

Manage your company assembly and assembly items. The assembly list displays the assembly's name, and active status. Select the assembly name to view the Assembly Worksheet. Select the New Assembly button at the top of the list to create a new assembly. There are a set of action items on right side of each assembly in the list that supports the following actions for the specified assembly:
- Edit Assembly name and actie status
- Go to the Assembly Worksheet
- Remove the specified assembly
Use the "New Assembly" to create a new assembly. We highly recommend creating assemblies from existing estimates as oppossed to building from scratch.
The "Assembly Worksheet" page contains the cost items that make up an Assembly. Use this worksheet to manage assembly items and perfect assemblies to increase productivity when creating estimates. The worsheet lists all the line items in the assembly and groups the items by their Cost Item Group.
Cost Item Groups are used to group both our cost items in cost books as well as our estimate items in estimates. Groups contain like tasks such as Plumbing, Electrical, Permits, etc... User the arrow on the left side of the Cost Item Group to expand or collapse the view of the tasks under the specified cost item. The Cost Item Group displays the name of the group and the number of estimate tasks under the group. The total cost and price for all tasks under the group is also displayed. Select the plus icon on the right side of the Cost Items Group to add estimate tasks under the selected group.

Adding Line Items is done by selecting the plus icon on the right side of the Cost Items Group. This will popup a list of Cost Items specific to the selected Cost Item Group. Simplay click on checkbox for each task you would like to add to your assembly. Select the "Add" button and the selected tasks will be added with the specified quantity.
Do not be concerned if you can not find the exact task you are looking for. Insert a task similar to what you require and simply update the task in the assembly. Change the task name, quanity , unit of measure or price very quickly after it is inserted.
